Distribution of Sheep units to Integrated Farming System (IFS) Beneficiaries of Attracting Retaining Youth in Agriculture (ARYA) project at KVK, Kampasagar on 17-08-2021

Sheep (63 No.) were distributed to rural young farmers as beneficiaries of Integrated Farming System (IFS) of Kampalapally, Marriguda, Chinna Adisarlapally, Puslaphad, Kasangodu, Cheruv ananram Thripuraram and Babusaipet villages of Nalgonda Dist. by Dr. M.Shankaraiah, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar on 17.08.2021. The purpose of developing and strengthening Integrated Farming System (IFS) is to increase income levels for over all sustainability with the assistance of ARYA project. The young sheep with 4 month age old weighing 6-8 kg were distributed to 12 members @ 5 No./Unit those are maintaining other components of IFS like Backyard poultry, Vermicompost and Dairy except sheep. Due to distribution of sheep all components were fulfilled. Dr.T. Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) IFS incharge and other scientists of KVK present on the occasion.
